Ollas (unglazed clay pots buried in soil) have been used for over 4,000 years across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia to irrigate crops. The principle is simple and elegant: water seeps slowly through porous clay walls, delivering moisture directly to where roots need it most.

At Azen Garden, we took this ancient technology and reimagined it for the modern home gardener. Our self-watering plant globes bring the same precision irrigation to potted plants and indoor gardens, without any complicated systems or electricity.

The Product

Terracotta That Thinks

Each Azen Garden globe is made from natural terracotta clay, the same mineral-rich material that's been used for irrigation for millennia. The porous walls create thousands of micro-channels through which water slowly permeates into the surrounding soil.

When soil is dry and roots are thirsty, they create a moisture gradient that draws water through the clay. When soil is already moist, water stays put. No timers needed. The plant's own root system controls the flow.

Each set includes four 350ml globes with cork stoppers and a wooden display stand, designed to look as beautiful on your windowsill as they are functional in your pots.
